Buffalo, N.Y., April 21-MedWisdom Inc., a Buffalo-based technology company focused on the healthcare industry, today announced the acquisition of Next Century Software and Support.
Next Century Software and Support has a 20-year track record of supporting a large customer base of physician offices with its practice management software. MedWisdom will continue the support of Next Century's current customers, while coupling the Next Century scheduling and billing systems with its electronic medical record (EMR) suite to offer a complete solution for physician practices.
"We intend to invest in the current Next Century technology to enhance and upgrade its functionality and assist our customers in achieving HIPAA compliance, while developing our globally accessible electronic medical record suite of products," stated Alex Alexander, MedWisdom co-founder and Chief Executive Officer.
