MedWisdom to implement Electronic Clinical Record System for Ontario County's Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinics

Ontario County has selected MedWisdom for their Mental Health and Substance Abuse Clinics. MedWisdom will implement their integrated Clinic Management System (CMS) for electronic billing and scheduling and a customized version of the MedWisdom Electronic Clinical Record (ECR) that will meet the specific clinical needs for Ontario County.
MedWisdom's ECR is designed specifically for the mental health and substance abuse market. The system allows clinicians to document each patient's entire case at the point of care. The Electronic Clinical Record is designed to assist clinics to properly document services and increase compliance with state and federal regulations, reducing the possibility for errors and increasing the quality of care.
"The largest challenge in a clinical setting is proper documentation. The risk for fines and paybacks to Medicaid and other state agencies is greatly reduced using our ECR. This allows clinicians to be clinicians and delivers peace of mind to administrators. This customized program will virtually eliminate cost and space requirements necessary when archiving patient files. Paper record keeping is a huge effort to maintain and the cost of it is astronomical" said Ken Tirohn, Chief Clinical Officer for TenEleven Group.
